Special OBOB Shoutout *NEW*

Thanks to the incredible team of volunteers led by Brenda Newmister for another great OBOB school battle.  Around 100 students read 16 books to participate in this trivia-style competition. Congratulations to the Cougars (6-8 division) and Wombat Chickens (3-5 division) who will advance to regional competitions this month.

Sock and Underwear Drive Is Underway!

BCS is collecting donations of NEW socks, underwear, gloves and winter hats - sizes 4T to adult - to benefit the PPS Clothing Center. 

Collection bins will be located near the main offices at Fernwood, as well as outside the main doors of the building Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or send your order straight from our Amazon Wish List.

Neurodiversity & All Ability Celebration Week

(3/13-3/17) *NEW*

The Beverly Cleary Community is excited to announce our first ever All Ability Celebration Week. Throughout this week, our community will have multiple opportunities to learn more and connect about neuro & physically diverse topics through read-alouds, classroom discussions, a library resource table, buddy activities, a family night and more! The goal of this week is to bring more awareness and acceptance of learning, behavioral and physical differences many of us experience to our school and neighborhood community.

We are connected with the Neurodiversity Celebration website providing resources to families, students and school communities on the topics of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Dyslexia to name a few. There are several presentations and panel discussions scheduled throughout the week with the Neurodiversity website. See this calendar to sign up and attend! We are also hosting a Family Night on Thursday, March 16th from 7-8 PM in the cafeteria in conjunction with FACT Oregon.

Deadline to Order 22/23 Yearbook This Week!

Don't miss out on this year's memories.  Please order by March 1st.  $25 on School Pay (pps.schoolpay.com) Yearbooks will be here this school year and handed out before summer.  If you have any questions, please email Amber Gauntlett (ambergauntlett@gmail.com) or Liz Kobs (lkobs@pps.net).
