Hello Beverly Cleary families,

Hope you enjoyed the abundant snow this past week.  We needed a Killer Burger redo, and they have graciously offered to host a fundraiser again for us tonight!  5-9pm, at the Russell St. Location.  Be sure to mention you are there for BCS.  See flyers below for both upcoming restaurant fundraisers.  These are an easy way to fundraise for our community AND support local businesses, so please attend if you can!

Neurodiversity & All Ability Celebration Week

(3/13-3/17) *NEW*

The Beverly Cleary Community is excited to announce our first ever All Ability Celebration Week. Throughout this week, our community will have multiple opportunities to learn more and connect about neuro & physically diverse topics through read-alouds, classroom discussions, a library resource table, buddy activities, a family night and more! The goal of this week is to bring more awareness and acceptance of learning, behavioral and physical differences many of us experience to our school and neighborhood community.

We are connected with the Neurodiversity Celebration website providing resources to families, students and school communities on the topics of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Dyslexia to name a few. There are several presentations and panel discussions scheduled throughout the week with the Neurodiversity website. See this calendar to sign up and attend! We are also hosting a Family Night on Thursday, March 16th from 7-8 PM in the cafeteria in conjunction with FACT Oregon.
