Hello Beverly Cleary families,
Totals are in, and despite the snow days and a slow start, the BCS Community showed up in a huge way for this year's PPS Sock & Underwear Drive: we'll be delivering 3,892 pairs of socks, underwear, gloves and hats to the clothing closet on Friday!
Thank you for helping our PPS community with this important program. Our popsicle party will be scheduled after Spring Break to celebrate EXCEEDING our 2,400 goal with the students. We hope you have a wonderful Spring Break!

Dear Francis Coffee BCS PTA Fundraiser Continues!
For families that weren’t able to attend this past weekend’s Pop-Up, the fundraiser continues online (till 4/1). 20% of online coffee sales (bagged coffee/tasting kits/subscriptions) will be donated to BCS PTA when entering code BCSTWENTY at www.dearfranciscoffee.com. See flyer below.
The garden work party last week was a success!
A big thank you to parent volunteers Brian Gustafson and Nathan Dinihanian for bringing their work tools and positive spirits to install a heavy duty lock to secure the shed and move the door handle which was vandalized (again!) as recent as the night before our work party. They also helped us hang hooks inside the shed so our shovels have a neat and tidy place to live. Students joined forces with volunteer Ned Damon and Grow Portland educator Kelsi Hermain to sort through shed items, tossing what we don't use and being intentional with what we kept. More shed organizing to come in April! Keep an eye out for our next garden work party here.
Thanks to all those who lent a hand!
