Hello Beverly Cleary families,
Please join us TONIGHT in the BCS Cafetorium for a PTA meeting. All BCS adults are welcome. View the draft agenda here. This meeting is best attended in-person, but a Zoom link is available here if you would like to join remotely. We deeply appreciate your participation in these meetings. Planning is underway for the 23/24 school year, and we need to hear as many community voices as possible in order to accurately address the needs of our large community. Thanks in advance.

This show is appropriate for ages 9 and up. Some actors pretend to drink alcohol. There are gun shot sound effects. It is a murder-mystery comedy, so there are comedic "murder" scenes, but nothing too graphic or gory. The show has comedic use of a candlestick, dagger, rope, wrench, revolver, lead pipe, and toy guns used by police officers. The show is set in the 1950s, so there are references that may not be familiar to younger audiences.

We need volunteers to help coordinate the celebration of our wonderful BCS teachers and staff during the week of May 8th. If you have some time to give, please email Korwren Peterson to volunteer.
Spring Community Care Day - Save the Date & Co-Lead Needed
Saturday, May 6th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
This year we are holding a Spring Community Care Day....mark your calendars and join us as we clean up our school grounds.
Co-Lead needed: Do you want to get involved via a low barrier to entry event with minimal time commitment? Wendy Schmidt has kindly led this school beautification event for the past 6 years and now it’s time to pass the baton! Time commitment: 3 hours before the event, 5 hours day-of, 1 hour post event. Please email volunteer@beverlyclearyschool.org if interested.
