Winter After-School Enrichments
*NEW*

Winter after-school class listings and registration are now available! 

Classes include arts, music, breakdance, chess, eco crafting, and more. New classes this term include drama, advanced coding, advanced Lego robotics, art with Ms. Brooke, and teen yoga with Ms. Kobs. Old favorites offer a new curriculum each session.

Partial scholarships are available to make these programs accessible to all families. Just tell a school counselor if you need one. These classes are a way to build community, expand kids' interests, and assist parents after school. They are not endorsed or sponsored by BCS or the PTA.

Get to Know GrantGives
*NEW*

As Beverly Cleary students move on to Grant High School, families have a place to stay connected and support the activities their kids love through GrantGives.

GrantGives is the school’s only parent-led 501(c)(3) organization supporting all student clubs, teams, and extracurriculars. From academic and social clubs to sports and performing arts, they help fund and elevate the programs that make high school engaging and memorable.

They also host social events, offer tax-deductible giving opportunities, run the GrantGives Concession program, and provide special senior-year traditions, such as the “Leave A Legacy” digital brick wall.

Help Plan Heritage Night

Our community is full of families from many different backgrounds, all with a heritage and culture to share. On Thursday, February 26, the PTA will host Heritage Night, a time for families to come together to share their culture with our school community. Families will be invited to share the music, art, games, food, and traditions that are important to them. We need volunteers to help plan the night. There is a solid plan from last year’s event, so the time commitment is minimal: two to three planning meetings, with the first meeting in December.

Calling All 8th Grade Parents!

It’s time to dig out those adorable baby photos! Help us celebrate the Class of 2026 by sharing your student’s baby picture for the 2025-2026 yearbook. Yearbooks Now on Sale!

Capture this school year’s memories with the 2025 yearbook, now available at the early bird price of $22 through Winter Break (12/19/25). After that date, the price will increase to $30.

This year’s edition will be a more compact version, with fewer pages of classroom and activity coverage. With fewer volunteers available to support the Yearbook Club, we’ve scaled back the number of pages, and the price reflects this smaller format.

Do you have anything you'd like included in the newsletter or on socials? Please complete the BCS PTA Communications Request Form (linked below) by Thursday to have your content in the Monday newsletter of the following week. Please note that we will include only information directly related to school- or PTA-sponsored events. We will let you know if your submission does not qualify. Thank you.
