BCS PTA Welcome Crew Needs You!

This year, we’ve seen some new faces around BCS, many joining post kindergarten. Some of our new families are now members of the PTA and have shared how hard it can be to feel connected in the beginning. We believe there is a need to identify families to serve as a touchstone for incoming families outside of kindergarten. Could you join our Welcome Crew? Email membership@beverlyclearyschool.org to confirm your interest. Welcome Crew may be matched with a new family, and asked to: Say hello and share your contact info Offer helpful tips, Plan to meet in person at pick up / drop off or other Plan to meet up at the first BCS event so friendly faces are present Answer/redirect questions As part of bringing new families into our community, we are also so fortunate to have so many amazing languages represented in our community (Currently 11)! Do you have a working knowledge of languages other than English, and would you be willing to use those skills to help include families new to BCS? If so, let us know! Please fill out this very brief survey to get started. This year at BCS, we have 11 different primary languages spoken at home: Dutch/Flemish Afrikaans Japanese Portuguese Russian Spanish Telugu Thai Turkish Vietnamese English Thank you for helping to welcome new faces to BCS!
