Fun Run

 

The BCS Fun Run is the first major PTA fundraising event of the school year, giving the Beverly Cleary School community an opportunity to join together, support the school, and have fun! This event takes place during the school day, giving all students the opportunity to participate. In the weeks before the Fun Run, students receive pledge sheets and are encouraged to seek pledges ($/lap or a flat donation) from friends and family. On the morning of the Fun Run, teachers accompany students to the Grant Track to run together. Volunteers make sure everything runs smoothly and track the number of laps each student runs. Those who opt to gather pledges will receive more information on collecting and submitting funds raised. The Fun Run features an awesome DJ, fun prizes, and a festive and supportive atmosphere for all members of the school community. Join us as a participant, volunteer, or spectator!

Fun Run 2019 Details:

The 2019 Fun Run will be held on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2019 at the Grant Track (in Grant Park at Tillamook and NE 33rd).

Fun Run T-Shirts

Fun Run T-shirts are available for $10. You can buy in person at the main entrances of Hollyrood and Fernwood before and after school on Tuesday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 25. You can also order online! Online orders must be placed by Tuesday, September 24 for delivery before the Fun Run. Shirts will be delivered to your child's classroom.

 

Postcards (NEW!)
Fun Run postcards are a great way for students to thank the friends and family that support the Fun Run. Our new postcards feature the Fun Run logo on a multicolor background. You can buy in person at the main entrances of Hollyrood and Fernwood before and after school on Tuesday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 25 (4 for$1). You can also order online! Online orders must be placed by Tuesday, September 24 for delivery before the Fun Run. Postcards will be delivered to your child's classroom.
