ANNOUNCEMENTS
Steeplejack Brewing Co. Fundraising Night: Tuesday, October 29, 3pm to 10pm *REMINDER*
This Tuesday, please join us for a BCS community dine-out night at Steeplejack Brewing Co. on Tuesday, October 29th between 3pm and 10pm. Steeplejack will donate 10% of all food and 15% of Steeplejack Beer (including canned beer) sales to BCS PTA. This includes all food (dine-in only) and beer (dine-in and take-out).
OBOB: Register Now! *NEW*
Now is the time for interested 3rd-8th graders to register for OBOB!
To promote inclusivity and allow more students to participate, you will only need to register your interested student this year. As in the past, you can submit names of other students that your student is interested in competing with, however, students can sign up this year without first finding a team.
While teammate requests cannot be guaranteed, the BCS OBOB Planning Team will work hard to ensure that all students are matched with their requested teammates and that prior-year teams remain intact.
Why are we so excited about this change?
- It will take the pressure off of parents and students to find others to make a team before registration - there may be an interested friend you didn’t know was interested!
- It will be an easy way for groups of four to identify someone interested in filling the coveted fifth spot.
- Most importantly, while we cannot guarantee, we hope that this will allow all interested students to participate in the BCS 2025 OBOB Tournament.
Note: All participating students must be registered via this survey by a parent or guardian by November 15, 2024. Once formed, each team must identify its own volunteer coach.
A member of the OBOB Planning Committee will be by the basketball hoops at drop off and pick up on Wednesday, November 6 to answer questions that any student or grown-up may have.
In the meantime follow the link below to learn more or email obob@beverlyclearyschool.org with any questions.
