Field Day: Sign Up to Volunteer *REMINDER*

Field Days are coming up Thursday and Friday! Please send your child with a water bottle and sunscreen as temperatures rise and sun is in the forecast. We could still use a few volunteers, especially Friday afternoon for the Middle School Field Day.

Buy Tickets to the BCS Bash + Foundation Fundraiser *REMINDER*

It's not your everyday school fundraiser! Join the BCS community at Tough Luck on this Friday, June 7, to celebrate the end of the year and raise funds for the BCS Foundation. Funds will provide one-on-one support for reading and math across BCS and supervision at recess during the 2024-25 school year.

Junior Rose Parade *REMINDER*

We are excited to announce the BCS community will again have a large-group entry in the Portland Rose Festival Junior Parade on June 5. The Jr. Rose Parade runs right through our neighborhood, and our school closes for a half day.  Learn about how to participate on our webpage linked below.  PLEASE NOTE: You do not need a group to walk in the parade - just a parent supervising!  Everyone is welcome.

Yearbooks Are Here *NEW*

Distribution day is Friday, June 7th for those who pre purchased a yearbook. K-5 yearbooks will be delivered to classrooms by the end of the day. 6-8 students will receive a ticket in advisory on Friday morning. They’ll bring this ticket to the West gym after school to pick up their yearbook. Extra yearbooks will be for sale the following week after school on Monday and Tuesday in the main hall by the office.  Shoutout to the amazing students on staff who designed and created this year’s book.

PTA Meeting: June 11th *NEW*

Please join us for our final ZOOM ONLY General PTA Meeting nextTuesday, June 11th. This will be a quick 30 minute meeting to confirm our new treasurer and make a few announcements and field any questions.
