Sparky's Pizza Fundraiser! *REMINDER*

Sparky's Pizza is hosting a fundraiser to benefit the BCS PTA TODAY (Tuesday, April 23rd)! 10% of the total sales from the two Sparky’s Portland locations will be donated to the PTA. Take a break from cooking and support PTA!

NOTE: we also have a Tacovore fundraiser coming up next Wednesday, on May 1!

Calling All Volunteers: Art Show Lead Needed! *NEW*

We are suddenly in need of an Art Show lead for the school Art Show on Thursday, May 30 due to unexpected circumstances. You already have helpers, but would need to take charge of the event! Principal Coffee Talk: THIS Friday *NEW*

Come have a cup of coffee and chat with Principal Presley this Friday, April 26th at 9am in the Cafetorium.  It's a great way to connect with the BCS community, get your questions answered and learn about upcoming events and current issues.

BottleDrop Earth Week Give *REMINDER*

We are excited to participate in the "BottleDrop Earth Week Give" this month! Return BottleDrop Blue Bags between April 22 and May 4 to earn a 20% bonus on every bag. You can start returning bags NOW! For more information, email bottledrop@beverlyclearyschool.org.

Teacher Appreciation Week *NEW*

Help us stock the staff room for teacher appreciation week (May 6-10).  Here's our plan: 

• Monday, May 6: Coffee Cart for Teachers
• Tuesday, May 7: Flower Day - Bring your teacher a flower
• Wednesday, May 8: Donuts in the staff room
• Thursday, May 9: Bring books and supplies for your teacher
• Friday, May 10: Bring a card or note for your teacher

Annual PPS Clothing Drive *RESULTS*

The results are in. We collected 2,295 items - well done!  We fell short of the 2.400 item challenge goal, but still showed up well for the PPS Clothing Closet.  Thank you to everyone who participated. Congratulations to Ms. Hunt's class who won the classroom challenge and will get a popcorn party!

We need YOU: Consider joining the BCS PTA Board *REMINDER*

The BCS PTA is looking for Board Members and Community Leads to volunteer and support our community next year. The 24 -25 PTA Board Slate still needs nominees for Secretary, Treasurer, Student Enrichments Chair and Fundraising Chair. In addition, there are many other open lead volunteer roles.

Urban Hiking Chaperones Needed!  *REMINDER*

Mr. Lane and his Outdoor Adventures class need YOU! Whether you are a middle school parent or not, they would love to have 1 (or more) adults join them every day, rain or shine, to explore our community. Only 1 volunteer is required to meet the 15:1 student:adult ratio, but please feel free to sign up with a friend.
